How I handle your information.
Updated: September 13, 2026
This site asks very little of you, and I want to be plain about what happens with the little it does ask. No legal maze. Here is the whole picture.
What I collect
If you subscribe to Vision Notes, I collect your first name and email address. That is all the newsletter form asks for.
If you send a speaking inquiry, I collect what you type into the booking form: your name, email, organization, event date, location, audience size, budget range, and your message.
When you submit a form, I also receive the page you used, the referring page when available, and campaign labels in the link you followed. These help me understand where inquiries and subscriptions come from. The forms use a hidden field to help detect automated spam.
Where it is stored
Both forms deliver your information to GoHighLevel, the customer relationship system I use to manage the newsletter and respond to speaking inquiries. It is stored there under that company’s own security practices, and access is limited to me and my team.
How it is used
Newsletter details are used for one thing: sending you Vision Notes. Booking details are used for one thing: responding to your inquiry and, if we work together, planning the event.
I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers. Ever.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-focused tool. It counts page views in aggregate without tracking you as an individual, without cookies, and without following you to other sites.
There is no Google Analytics here and there are no advertising pixels. Campaign labels are attached to form submissions; they are not used to follow you around other websites.
Embedded videos
The TEDx player loads YouTube when you press play. YouTube receives information about that playback under its own privacy policy. Links to Instagram and other publications open those services.
Unsubscribing and deletion
Every edition of Vision Notes includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you are out, no questions asked.
If you want your information deleted entirely, from the newsletter list or from past inquiries, submit a request through the inquiry form.
Changes to this policy
If how I handle information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will reflect it.
